Self taught over the last 30 some years, I have made furniture and household decorative items. Cedar chests, record cabinets, tables, bar stools, laundry hampers, slowly assembling a king size bed room suite, picture frames, display shelves. a router table, checkerboards, domino sets, banks made with old post office doors, and book shelves are some of the thinigs I have made. My favorite thing to do is making segmented bowls especially ones with southwest Indian designs. My current project is a maple bowl that will have a ring of tulip wood feathers around the top. With a diameter of about 11 1/2 inches and height of possibly 8 inches it will be at the limits of my lathe diameter of 12 inches.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
