Location: Kalbarri, Western Australia. 600 klms north of Perth. Mouth of the Murchison River.
Website:

I am retired and 67 years old. I have been interested in Woodworking all my life, and won my first competition in Year 10 at High School. 1960.
My real interest and hobby started 9 years ago when I got my first Lathe. I have never had a lesson so everything I have learnt has come from forums like this one and others including books and magazines. And I look forward to working with you all.
I do mostly lathe work, although I have built cupboards and all sorts of other items.
I am interested in many other crafts, such as Pottery, Glass, Mosaics, just to mention a few.

Bob.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better.

Bob, this is a great idea….Where I live we get a lot of Silver Birch. It is very light in color and has no figure…. But with your idea I can add a bit of color and figure..

Fantastic….
