Thanks for the welcome gents. I'm sure I'll be frequenting this forum once the sawdust and chips start flying. Haven't made any in a while in the shop. Those lanterns, lamps, and stoves have kept me pretty busy. I have a bunch of outdoor projects I want to get on once the weather gets warmer. The "hunt hooch" is tops on the list. I'm tired of freezing my ass off sitting in a ladder stand. Time to get some "creature comforts" so I can be out there ALL DAY LONG and not get wet/cold. It's gonna be 20ft in the air on utility poles. I figure 8ft by 6 ft with 6.5ft on the low end of the roof line will be cozy. Maybe even a little LP gas heater for those frigid days. Get it warm enough inside so I can be in there with some sweats and my slippers on. LOL! My buddy is going to build one too on the opposite end of this 1000 yd long pasture rimmed by corn fields, trees, and a stream. He's sick of freezin' his ass too. Y'all take good care, watch them digits, and take care of those eyes. We only get two.
