Chain Vise Kit As I was blogging about my split Roubo bench build using BenchCrafted hardware, Jim (Boatman53) offered me a prototype of his chain drive for the leg vise. My Roubo Bench was finished back in 2010 and It’s been a dream to use with one exception, the Parallel Guide and Pin on the leg vise were a pain to use. I never seemed to have the pin in the right hole of the Parallel Guide. BenchCrafted, who made the hardware for the Roubo Slit Top Bench announced a solution for that problem.
