    Hi Barb,
Wow, you made my night. Thank you so much for all the kind words. I taught myself with the help of books, mags, helpful web info, and friendly folks on the web. The only human teaching I had was a one night router class. It was very helpful. I have some more furniture type pieces then it's on to scrolling and smaller craft type projects. Sadly many of my outdoor items did not fair well in the elements. I'm going to try some outdoor tables from Trex with tile tops real soon.

Hi Vicki. I'm late to the party, but wanted to say I admire the growth of your projects. I went all through your website pages, and had to smile at the evolution from open bookshelves to cabinets with fitted hinges and drawers and grooved back panel channels! That's just how I started out, wanting bookshelves, and not having a clue on God's green earth what I was doing. Now you have a well-equipped shop (and always wanting more and better) and a yard and house to show off all your work! So glad to see your projects!

Thanks Gary. It was a great year that went really fast! We went from shovelling snow last month to cutting grass this month. I'm happy the cold weather season is short so I can spend more time in the shop! I have a long list of projects for this year and jumped in with both feet.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

    God Bless

    Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I already love it hear and I've only been reading the posts a couple of days. I love the RSS format and getting updates in my email. A bit about me: I'm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I've been doing woodworking for about 12 yrs. I do a lot of things for the yard and house, trellises, bookcases, deck tables, 3D dog/yard art, some scrolling. I love trying it all. I have a web site: http://mysite.verizon.net/v.hayden/index.htm
Thanks again for making me feel welcome. I'll have plenty of questions. lol
