This is my Second Project.
This is wooden rice chest. it’s a rice storage.
It’s opening is on top.
It took a lot of time than what i expected..
Pine was used as material.

In Drawing Picture :
The first joint connects pillar and beam. The second one is called Swallow beak joint. These two joints are traditional way of wood working. I just reproduced the traditional funiture.

We open it by pulling the hinged top up.

I tried making Apothecary.
Wood is cedar. Original Design has 3w x 3h Drawer but it was too big. So i’ve changed it to 3w x 2h.
Drawer’s front size is 2”x3”.
but… Cause my cutting miss.. Middle Drawer was a missmatch. so I made middle two drawers as 1 drawer. -..-;;;
outer edge of drawer frame is dovetail joint. Finish is oil stain.
It didnt come out as i planned but it’s not bad.
