I have finally finished remodeling my woodshop! And as promised, here is the video of the process. Its about 11 minutes long, but stick it out… some of the best parts are toward the end. I also just updated the photos on my Workshop page.

Awesome video. One of my favorite things about LJ is being able to look at all the shops. I love looking at shops. Especially when there is a video tour. Any way, great edit on the video also. What program do you use to do your video editing? I don’t think I would be able to con one of my friends to come over and help with a job like that. I have you as one of my buddies on LJ and I enjoy your projects and blogs. Take it easy dude. Bob

Cool shop, Blake. I bet it feels terrific to have all that extra room.

Even cooler video, though!

Great video Blake. The best shop tour yet. How is working in the new space? What’s the area now?

Finally!

Your creativity shows through in all mediums that you use.

You have the “little shop that could.” I am amazed you were able to use that little space.

Loved the video and enjoyed seeing you in it. You do such great work. I may have to consider our conversation more.

I had a chance to watch the whole thing ..I only got to take a quick peak earlier when I joked about that spider…seriously I would be packing heat in my shop if I had those guys as roommates!. Great shop you have there…cool video but the out of focus and excessive camera movement made me a little queasy. Great use of the space…and from the looks of your tool collection it definitely pays off to work in a used tool store! Cool old school band saw. That extra space really made a big difference.

Congratulations, Blake. That looks like a really nice space. Great video too. It looks like your shop floor is now at two levels. How is it dealing with the height difference between the shop sections? Thanks for sharing and if I’m in the area I will work for one of those big steaks too. :)

Great job on the remodel Blake.
You have a nice space going now. I’m curious of how much of the stuff outside made it into the new shop. I’ll pack things in for a long time but when its cleaning time I throw too much away.

I’ll echo the sentiments on the spider though… scary.
