Anything less then the top name brands you are taking a gamble, some have good luck and some don’t, Myself I’ve to this day with all of the machinery that I’ve purchased from HF have had less then good luck as a matter of fact I’ve wasted more money buying crap from Harbor Freight then if I had just purchased the top name brand tools to begin with… With saying all of this you’d thunk I would’ve learned my lesson by now well this belt sander is the one...

Though there are other positive review results on this sander, I thought I’d give my thoughts. My spindle sanding adventure, I first started off with a Rockwell Spindle Sander Shop Series RK9011 in which was a failure, I posted a review on it here,, once it failed I purchased the Jet Model 708404 thinking I was getting a 6” sander only to get it home and find out it’s actually a 4”, you only get 4.5” above the table though the drums are 6” didn’t...

As a new adventurous into box joint, joinery and after study and research I optioned for the router table version The MLCS Multi Joint System as for me swapping out a router bit is much more to my liking apposed to swapping out a tablesaw blade plus it’s easier and leaves a cleaner cut. I’ve had this unit going on 8 months now and have had nothing but issues from day one with this unit, for starters the table is not true 90% to the drum, I’ve had to fight the nut turning on the threads from day one and today the drum stem threads finally stripped out, it’s been nothing but frustration and definitely not worth the $250.00 purchase, you’d be better off on buying the HF brand at a lower coast or buying a well known name brand like Delta, Grizzly and or ...
