1646 posts in 679 days Location: Austin I retired at the early age of 50 back in early 2010, after 25 years and have a huge passion for wood working. I have just started my own small woodworking business, I started heavy into wood working somewhere in 2000 building model air planes then took a huge step into building new maple cabinets for my kitchen which can be viewed in my projects, then onto building custom furniture and many other small projects, my newly found passion is building bandsaw boxes. I am self taught no schooling or training of any kind, just seem to have a knack for figuring out how things work and go together, when I need info on something I do research via google/video/books and or ask questions which I am grateful for the people here in LJs in this area. -- Randy - If I'm not on LJ's then I'm making Saw Dust. I see ya been here a while, but, welcome to LJ’s. I retired at 51, over 5 years ago. It’s theee ablsolute best thing ever! lotsa time for woodworkin, and everything and anything you wanna do. you will find that you don’t have time to do much…........ really. but, who the heck cares… hahaha enjoy your retirement, and keep makin dust. work safe

thanks for welcome just saw it today & thank u 4 letting me piggy back on the moister meter. learned some stuff off it think going to harbor freight & try that one today got some mulberry the other day from guys wood pile & ancitious to use its got a yellow tint to it want try it in project. thanks again
