I am a Husband of 37 years to my wife, I love construction and designing cabinets and all types of working with wood. I have been working since I was 15 ,first in flooring. Wood, ceramic, sheet goods, carpet, vinyl, and then was taught how to install formica or the techincal name is Plastic Laminate. I am a Profesional Plastic Laminate installer and did that work for 30 years, still install a little bit once in a while. Remodeled 10 tug boats for a company in Louisiana back in the 70-80's we use to ride them while we were doing the work, that was enjoyable. I have worked in just about every phase of construction over the years, but got tired of working out of a truck loading and unloading tools, so I built my shop so I can work at home. I think a lot of guy's my age can appreciate that. I have been enjoying my Grizzly tools but wanted to move up to a European sliding saw. So soon I will have one for percise cutting and safety.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.
To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.
Please enjoy your membership.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…
Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Hey Binn,
Sure would love to see those pics of the shroud you made for your Grizz. Anything to help minimize the sawdust. If you want to email them to me, let me know or post them here and I can take a look.
A little late but welcome to LJ’s, I love this site.
