I'm an "OLD" (74) woodworker starting at age 11 making Turkey Callers, and have made most everything up to and including fishing boats. Have been mostly into woodturning for past 28 yrs, and now deep into hollow vesels, which is the most satisfying form of working with wood so far. It also seems to be the most expensive!
I live half the time in Georgia at 1800 ft, and the other half in Colorado at 10,200 ft., and have a shop in both places. This is probably why the duplicate expense of equipment is more than most have to spend. The trees available are totally different at the two places, and makes things very interesting.
I am somewhat computer challenged, so mostly read stuff and post little. I also fish a lot in the Colo streams. I really do enjoy life!
