All good things must come to an end, and that includes the AWFS Fair. I’ve been very fortunate on many different levels. First, being able to talk with very knowledgable people in the field has opened my eyes to different techniques. Second, and just as important, I was able to attend this show with my good friend Tulsa Wood Smith. And finally, I picked up some cool tools for some great prices. Today was especially good – I scored a General wireless inspection camera scope for half-price.
I’m hoping to attend the show in Atlanta, but will need to save up a lot of money if that will happen.
Also, Steve asked for a picture of the winning belt sander, so here it is. I believe it is a Bosch.
Finally, it’s still hot – even if there is no humidity.
-- I've never seen a tree that I wouldn't like to repurpose into a project. I love the smell of wood in the morning - it smells like victory.
