Just want to say I thoroughly enjoyed the picnic today (as did Lou Ann). The food was good and the company was great. I hope to see pics taken by others that were there. It was a great day – no snow – and there was a lot of free wood and veneer brought in by Dustin and Mike for all to take.
Thanks for the great time, and the trip to the sawyer netted me some nice walnut. I have an idea or two for it – hope to be able to post the results before the end of this year.
Below are a couple of pics taken at the picnic and mill. Great meeting everyone; we need to do this again (minus the cold weather!).

Here we have SteveMI (Steve) talking about his CNC router system to Kshipp (Kyle) and others.

Here Kelvin (owner of Raven Farm) is talking about his planner w/helix head. Among those shown (l to r) are Rustic (Rick), his wife (Nancy??), and Kshipp (Kyle) & his wife Kristen. Hidden behind Kelvin is Jockmike2 ??(Mike) and behind Kyle against the rack is my wife Lou Ann.

Here we are outside with Kelvin’s Wood Mizer. SteveMI (Steve) is shown in the picture. I believe he was contemplating how to get one of those bunks home in his truck!

Thanks guys. This was the first time meeting these guys – felt like I knew them all my life. It was a lot of fun – and imagine this – I learned a thing or two talking to these guys!!!! Heck, that was better than reading about how to do something in a magazine.
Hope the LJ in Arizona have a great time, too.

Glad to see you all had a great event and had lots of fun. Can’t wait to see more pictures and hear more from the others. Might want to go back and put some names with the pictures so we can identify the LJ’s there.

Thanks Bill for getting the ball rolling on the blog report yes you were corect that was my wife Nancy in the picture. You had everyone’s name right so far. I will get my pics uploaded and post them sometime today. I had an awesome time. I picked up some spalted maple, 1/ inch curly maple and some 1/4 inch walnut for 10 bucks. ( a hell of a steal) SteveMI made a commemorative plaque for us all to take home. My wife was so impressed with it she took it to work to show everyone.

Rick – thanks. Could you post a pic of the plaque? I think that would be great to show other LJ.
