I was fortunate to meet Marc Spagnuolo, The Wood Whisperer, at Highland Woodworking in Atlanta this weekend. Marc, along with others, did demo’s all day Saturday. I spent the morning watching him and then I came home and installed my new dust collector I picked up while there. I then went back on Sunday for Marc’s all day class. If you are not familiar with him check him out at http://thewoodwhisperer.com/ He has tons of information and lots of great videos. He started the shaker table build during March whcih collected over $9000 for the American Cancer Society. All in all a great woodworking weekend, even if I was out of the shop.

-- Bill from Lithia Springs, GA I love the smell of sawdust in the morning.

Great picture Bill.
Marc’s videos are really informative and helpful.
That shaker table build his guild sponsored was a great charity act.
Plus, you got a new Dust Collector…
Sounds like a good weekend!

[my take on an OLD joke]

GREAT picture, but who’s the guy with Bill Akins????

:-)

Glad you got to meet Marc. Seems like a very good egg. Hope your trip to Highland didn’t cost too much money ;-)

Great oppurtunity to meet a great guy maybe he’ll come back this way soon and thanks for sharing. Also if you don’t mind post any events you hear of in Atlanta I’m not far down I-20 just west of Augusta.
