How to : Navajo Inspired Bowl

Start by sawing a” dark wood” wedge “45 degrees” with a 1/4” flat top, add alternating light and dark wood to both sides 1/8”.Next add the ””light wood”.Fig 1 .This should be cut on both ends to form long strips of light and dark so that it will be easier to saw later.Saw into 1/8”strips with a 1/8” blade, Fig 2.Flip each over and reglue, make two,glue back to back to form the pattern, fig 3.Addanother light piece top and bottom then the redder wood next.Cut to lenght at 18 degrees to make circle of 10 pieces.add redder wood in between.
