I have had this saw for about 4 months now and have dropped probably about 50 trees and cut avout 15 cords of wood. I bought it to replace a husky 266xp. Power- i run it with a 18” or 24” it has no trouble running either with a full comp sthil/ oregon full comp 3/8-.50 pro chain and has a good power band. i have buried the 24” bar in oak and it just goes. ergonomics- it is the smoothest running saw i have owned. you can definatly tell the vibrations transmited to the g...

Really not much to say other then excellent. After using the saw all day i keep asking my self why i waited so long. Assembly was simple just took my time and rechecked everything as i went. Only downside during assembly was i had to run out and get a tap for rear fence rail there was a ton of paint in the threads . Over all it took me about 4hours to put together with a helper. well got my powermatic pm2000 today set and dialed in put brand new fussion blade in and first cut lost a tooth!!!!!! it stuck right in to my shirt. So i got freud on the horn and was prepared to get upset but, after explaining what happend first word out of his mouth was” are you ok , don’t worry about the blade we want to make sure you are ok”. well i was bored over the weekend and went yard saling and found a bunch of stanley 750’s with no handles got 18 total for $10.. they were in rough shape. so i cleaned them up made the blacks flats reground and turned new ash handles. spent a good 8 hrs all together making a 7 pcs set and all i can say is wow!!!!! i will never buy a new chisel again.If the backs didn’t have some minor pitting there would have been no need to lap the back.
