I have been around wood my whole life. With a dad like Mr. Woody it's hard not to learn to appreciate beautiful work! Most of the time I sanded in the workshop...that's why it's my least favourite thing to do now. I was allowed to actually help with cuts and things once in a while. As I got older the cuts got bigger. We attend the local woodshow together every year. A few years back we met a man named Les Kun. He was sitting at a table burning feathers. He saw my interest and asked if I'd like to try. I sat down and fell in love! I took his course in Flamborough and learned how to do the details necessary in making burnings pop. I also carved a Saw Whet Owl which isn't finished yet. I haven't burned in a few years but am getting back into it now. I'm not big on sharing my projects but was convinced to do so after receiving some links to Lumberjocks.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless
