Right now my shop is half of our two car garage, I keep hopeing I can talk the wife into letting me have her half two with no luck. Hey at least it is better than the shop at our first house ( I didn’t have one).

That’s about as much room I had in my first shop. Looking good!

Glenn,

You have a nice looking shop. You would be surprised at what can be done in small shops. I used to work with a fellow woodworker whose shop was 10×10. Yet he produced some nice pieces of furniture in his shop. You have a nice set of tools to play with as well.

Good luck on getting the other half of the garage. I am glad I put a third garage in the basement. I converted the garage into my shop once the boys had their own places. I can guarantee you that I would be out in the weather before my wife’s truck would be if I had to use her side of the upper garage for a shop.

Thanks for the tour. I really enjoyed visiting your shop.

Thats how I started off Glen, but with a lot less gear. Neat looking shop. I converted our 2 car garage into a living room, I thought it a waste of space for something that already has a roof but our climate is fairly moderate (except for the heat-LOL).

Glen:
Nice work. For the past 27 years I’ve also had to work in 1/2 of a two car garage, first in Fort Myers and now in Gainesville FL. I may try to cheat a little bit on the “1/2” but my wife definitely claims her space. It’s surprising what you can do in 250 sq ft. Wood storage has always been my major problem.
