Ive been asked to make a house sign – In french – a language in which i can just about order beer and pizza…
Im told its a New Orleans expression not used in france
Could someone please tell me which is the correct spelling

Profitez du bon temps ! I think it would be more appropriate. So ’’ Profitez du bon temps ’’ is used if you talk to more than one person. If you talk to one person you would say ” Profites du bon temps ” Have ” Une bonne journée ! ” Denis from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

The New Orleans motto is “Laissez les bons temps rouler”.
You see that everywhere.

I live in Lafayette, LA, about 2 hours due west of New Orleans. Locally, we use the second form in tourism promotions and other local advertising.
