Further to the royal wedding

Some of you may have read my blog on my disappointment with the princes not stopping at the tomb of the unknown soldier. Well, it seems the royal lady had more feeling than her new hubby. Instead of being tossed over her shoulder at the reception, her bouquet was taken back to the cathedral and laid in the tomb of the unknown.

My hat is off to the lady. I salute her.

yah, she’s a keeper.

Rick was telling me that they talked about the process on some news he was watching and the protocol, apparently, is for the Queen to stop at the tomb and pay respects and the rest of the wedding party are to walk through .. something like that. I have no idea – just sharing what I’d heard.

Her act wasn’t televised as it took place after they all left, as a private “thank you” to the unknown and those he represents so they might be a part of her happy day.
