Welcome to Lumberjocks!! This is a great place to get ideas and help in woodworking.
I never wanted to be a turner and then I got hooked on it in ‘03 and I just had the one seminar that really got me into it.
How do you finish the bottoms of the bowl? Do you use a jam chuck?

I remember when I made my first bowl. I had the spigot on the bottom to hold in the chuck, finished the bowl and did not know how to get rid of that spigot. That is when my mentor introduced me to a jam chuck and now I have a drawer full of them.

cheers, Jim
