I’ve not had a lot of shop time lately, but I’m inching my way back in. I’ve got my rockers and arms cut and shaped. Still have some sanding to finish up. I did the “heavy” cutting on the band saw and then finished the shaping with a microfile and block plane. Still need some more practice with the hand tools.
I didn’t “fit” the curve on the arm that will slide up against the chair leg yet. I decided to wait on the final sizing of that until I get the legs shaped.
So this is where I’ve gotten so far.
I’m hoping to get some serious shop time this weekend.
Thanks for looking.

Hello Betsy,
Good to see you back in the shop and making progress. I’ve not seen much of home lately never mind my shop, although Jenn was smart enough to see that I needed some sawdust time the other evening and put the kids to bed even though she’s fighting a stupid cold. I can’t see the images of your project here at the work (I guess the firewall doesn’t like me Lumberjocking whilst I’m watching other screens flicker ;-). Any way I hope to look at your project when I get some time at home.
Keep on making sawdust!

Betsy,
Nice to see you’re back at it. It can be difficult when we have to leave a project for a while (at least for me, I forget just what I wanted to do next). We hope you’ll be able to keep the dust billowing for some time now and look forward to future posts.
