It’s taken 12 days but I finally have all the milling done. I plan to start the shaping of the parts this week. I http://lumberjocks.com/Betsy/blog_entries/new#have some work on the rockers to get them cleaned up. I sure like working with cherry.
So here’s my pile of rocker parts. Not very interesting – but sure was a lot of work. I can now very much appreciate the cost of a nice rocker.
Thanks for looking.

Betsy,
That pile of work represents a heck of a lot of work!!! Now the fun part begins!
I agree with you about working with cherry, recently built some shelves with it and it machines great. Finishing, well that’s another story!

You know . . . to the untrained eye it would just looks like a pile of wood.
To all of us . . . its a pile of work\fun on its way to a beautiful project.

Thanks guys.
You’re right about the fun starting Lew. I can’t wait to start seeing it take shape.
Zuki – thankfully there are a lot of trained eyes here on LJ’s that understands that pile of wood!
