I'm a legal secretary in Downtown Fort Worth, Texas. Love my job but woodworking is my real passion. I've enjoyed being in the community known as Lumberjocks. I've learned so much from the forums and blogs. My main emphasis right now is small projects such as boxes and cutting boards. I've been bitten by the first, second and third generation board bug so I've been experimenting with those and having fun with it.

After reading your response to Dusty’s This Old Mold House posting, you are my new heroine. As someone posted to my wife’s fabric arts forums regarding her — “You rock on so many levels.”

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. —Mark Twain

Thanks Doug. My Dad never taught me the typical “guy” things growing up. But he did teach me that if I want to do something – I can. I just have to figure out how to get it done.
