I started this blog separated from the spiral design because all the designs that will be posted here will be in a rectangular form. If you extend that circular arc by projecting it linearly, then a Sine wave will be produced. The distance of the y axis varies with the time… On the following design I used a cosine curve because I like to concentrate on putting the smaller pieces in the middle. So this is how it looks….. I have to reduce my time in dealing with geometrical design last holiday seasons due to some domestic appointments and household projects. However, my mind is pre-occupied on to continue different design concepts using a rhumboid. I think it is time to recover from the LONG GAPS and so here I am back again to what I started. Part 3: Pyramid box

I was lucky, I was given a short time to assemble this box last weekend. January 2011 was really a hectic month of conferences and seminar.. So here it goes… The box is on the go. The lid is just simply inserted… what is lacking is the handle.The sides are all mitered…. lacking is spline…. but maybe not needed.The bottom is a solid wood somewhat a Narra look wood but I can not smell the aromatic scent.
