Just this morning (7 July), I was saddened by a death in my wife’s family circle. Doris passed away today due to Kidney complications. Three years ago, she had undergone kidney transplant and we thought she was cured. And because of this, there will be 4 families coming home from USA and one from London will be here. A FAMILY REUNION. I am thinking to give gifts (boxes) to each family that makes 7 boxes. IF ONLY I HAVE TIME… CAN I DO IT? Can I let others do it? No matter ...

Part 2: UPDATE ON THE 3RD DAY

I think all of us may think it is sometimes wise to stop typing and just do what are the things to do. I almost forgotten this series. But I do read still but did not bother to update. A recap on the second day of this boxes….Previous weekend I was travelling to the North that was Saturday… The cremation done last Monday and back to Manila. Part 3: Three on the way to USA

Here is the update on the 4th day… 5 boxes were selected.. One on the left was the previous HUMIDOR, I made and was now a choice as GILDA's. ALVIN's and BRENDA's also chosen, and lastly ELLEN's box is the largest. One was left behind… intended for the other. Of all the 7.. 3 off to USA + my previous HUMIDOR..

Part 4: The fifth day

Today, I have the chance of finishing the last 3 boxes. The target is only till tomorrow. In the morning, I have to be silent, there is no machine running and only handtools. Only in the afternoon that I was able to use my router and portable planer. Part 5: Finally complete - the fift day

The final box was finished and done… After a 5 day working in 2 weeks schedule… all the 7 were completed.Here they are: the first the second the third the fourth the fifth the sixth the seventh That all… Though I did not follow the original suggestions and plans, I have completed it. This is because I am using recycled wood. The truth is I had very less expenses on the materials above. I am glad that each one is loved...
