What is left with you when you gave your worthliving work to somebody? Far away from you, but yet so near in your memory. In a year time, I was so grateful about this Janna’s box. It made a great part in my life!
Last year when my stepdaughter Janna’s visited us, I came up with a gift … I made a Jewelry box, took me about 4 Saturdays and made it an simple and elegant. Included the 2 trays for it. When Janna and Richard his brother to USA, words from Janna still echoed in my ear …. “Thank you very much for the jewelry box. I will treasure for the rest of my life.” That was so touching. It was gift to her graduation being the summa cum laude.
Just a month ago, I posted one photo (the only available picture and joined the LJ) Amazingly, I was surprized about the unexpected comments. It was so simple but LJ likes it the way it is. They even requested for more photo.
Just today, June 8 – exactly the time when President Nonoy Aquino proclamed as Philippine president, I received an e-mail from Janna with photos attached. I was really excited to see and my heart jumped to extreme happiness in realizing that my handmade Janna’s jewelry box is very much in shape and holds some prescious gems the way it should be. The box got the right person and so the person got the right box.
I hope I can still look back into my other work and find out HOW ARE THEY TODAY?....

Bert, obviously Janna likes the jewelry very much because punong-puno ito ng kanyang precious items. Nice one Bert, i hope i could see the outsides of the box.

Bert,
It is obvious that the jewelry box is receiving the same loving attention you gave Janna at home. Both Janna and her jewelry box reflect your attention to detail. Rand
Have your say...
