Berg, you certainly have a unique shop space in which to work. I don’t think that I have seen a mobile shop before. It works well for your woodworking operations. Those are some nice looking lathes that you have. This is one tool that I would like to add to my collection someday. From the turnings that you have posted it looks like they are a lot of fun to “turn” out.
Thanks for the picture of your shop. I am sure I would enjoy working in a shop like you have.

I have the same lather combo that you have, I am in MN and just waiting for it to warm up, then I can go make some stuff, Today might be the day. By the way, That lathe combo, both are great machines, both perform fantasticlly. I guess, you have what you need. Also when the harley ( what kind? I have a road king) i guess it has 4 wheel.
Thanks for posting.

Scott, Necessity is the mother of all evil or something like that LOL Turning will likely “turn” you. Be careful. My table saw is now a table. And I’ve decided I need a new bandsaw… to support the turning addiction.
Andrew, I agree. The Rikon is a nice little workhorse. Actually not so little with it’s 12” swing. I haven’t had the Jet long enough to really appreciate what I have there. I picked it up off Craig’s List last Monday. However, I don’t anticipate ever needing another. Heavy little sucker. Can’t wait to really test it. I posted a note to you ( I have no idea where it goes). The bike is a Road Glide. Added a tour pack to give “Honey” and cushy ride. Now here’s the problem: Ride? Turn?
