« Part 3: Flattening the bottom of the top Part 4 of My First WorkBench Build series Part 5: Making Slow Progress...but Progress »

I decided to go ahead and use the 7” woodworking vise as the end vise. I mortised it into the side all with a chisel and hammer. Next is the chop and dog holes. So then I can use it to prepare the legs which are already cut roughly to size.

Great job! Looking sharp, the chisels that is! Ok, the bench too.

Now that you know what you’re doing…..Please install mine! Oh, can you build the bench also? That’s another thing I haven’t gotten to yet!

-- Randy-- I may not be good...but I am slow! If good things come to those who wait.... Why is procratination a bad thing?
