I got the itch to start working with wood about a year ago. I decided one day to make some adirondack chairs for my patio and I've been addicted ever since. One thing led to another and I found myself building a woodworking bench and scouring flea markets for hand tools. I keep reading woodworking articles and gathering items for the shop. I got it bad. I've dedicated half my garage to this madness.

I've made several adirondack chairs and like many builders, contemplated the possibility of making and selling them as a sideline business. I've resigned myself to the fact that I cannot, in good conscience, cut corners or remove any of the passion I put into these chairs and, therefore, cannot realistically make a killing doing this. It doesn't matter. I'll build for the sake of building them on my terms and if someone wants to buy, then so be it. Hopefully the love that went into them justifies the price.

I discovered this site recently and love the idea of sharing my projects with other like minded lumberman. There's a lot of great talent in here! I hope to graduate into some more complex projects as I learn more about woodworking.
