I’m planning to build an outdoor harvest table. Design is quite simple, timeless, chunky and large table (quick sketch below… not exactly my skill). In Ottawa, Canada so weather will be an issue. I’d like to use quarter sawn oak but so far I’ve yet to find a source for the materials I’ll need. Materials may even require a trip to Montreal (assuming that they have a better selection than I do locally). Would love to find redwood to do this with… I have a source that could provide white cedar or douglas fir but neither wood is ideal for this table.

Materials (dressed):
-(10×2x12’) x 5pcs quartersawn—four of these are for a table top so they need to be great pieces
-(14×2.5×12’) x 2pcs quartersawn for benches
-(8×2x12’) x 2pcs
-(4×4x12’) x 1pc
-(10×4x4’) x 10pcs or equivalent total length
