I am just starting out all over again. In my younger days, I started out working in Sheet Metal fabrication. Wanted to move on to be a Machinist, then a Tool and Die Maker, but lacked the memorized math skills. Back in about 1987, I found a book by Patrick Spielman on routers (not the computer type, the woodworking type), built my first major league jig to make wooden chain links, and was hooked. Cedar chain links everywhere. I still have a cardboard box full of them somewhere in my stuff. I found a WWII era Scrool Saw from Craftsman for $80.00 and found that to be a lot of fun too. I was just too busy raising a family and being a Custodian in different school districts in the Western U.S. to pursue the craft. Recently, I found a pair of the Original Incra Jigs I bought back then for an XY axis setup on the drill press. Found their web site and, when I could, bought the LS Positioner Super System from Incra. Presently I am building my own router table for this setup. Thank You again for your welcome into the community. Bedroom Chipper Doug S.

Welcome to LJ. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I have found great projects and wood working advice and have gotten a chuckle from some of the characters who post here.
