Mouse in my Bowl!

I was turning a China Berry limb and while turning this I stopped to take a look at what it had turned out to be. As it slowed down I spotted a mouse running round and round! My first thought was comical, “EEEK a MOUSE” I called the Li’l Lady from the house to see the mouse in the shop. She said “I don’t wanna see it” I said “You gotta” so she came in and stood at the door and I moved away from blocking the turning and she laughed! Hey that’s cool! I wished it had showed up further down the bowl as I still had about 2 more inches to carve out. Sadly the mouse is no more but I got pictures and video. I’m only showing the video cause when it is moving it looks like a mouse and in a still picture not so much like one.

Enjoy the video of the mouse!

Isn’t it just amazing what can show up the the wood as it’s cut?

I love things like this.

Thanks for posting.

So funny! I think I would have left the mouse in the bowl.

At the plant in the machine shop I’ve had em come up on my desk and sit and stair at me. They’re really quite harmless. Now, rats are a different story so when they show up it’s not for long. The poison takes care of them. The mice succumb as well, really.
