I have not posted on LJs for a long, long time, but this article came up and I thought a few might like to see it. As for me, just hard to get into my shop since my mother is now 94 and needs constant companionship and watching….and my shop isn’t big enough for me to roll her in there and I don’t think the noise, etc, would be good for her. This site amazes me…I was number 1600 plus when I joined and it’s now in the 50,000s….congratulations…truly remarkable.

Very interesting article there Barry. Thanks for popping in and sharing. I, for one, would love to take a peek at that old shop.

Hey Barry- Missed your input but understand your priorities. You are a wonderful son to look after your mom like you do! I think about you every time I use my bandsaw log sled that you inspired me to build. Don’t be a stranger. Hope you and your mom have a good Christmas.

Barry, I commend you for what you are doing, been there and done that.. you can be sure that you will never have any regrets for the time you are spending with her.. I know that in my case, I have siblings who only now wish they had spent the time when they could and now they can’t.. God Bless you in all that you do.. Papa
