So here It is a new beginning. The start of a new workshop. This will be a long (neverending/lifetime) process I’m sure. So I will continually update as progress is made. As you can see this 2 car garage is pretty close to being as full as possible so I have my work cut out for me.
First step is to get some room to move around so let’s get that vehicle out of there.
Now that theres a little elbow room in here I figured I should dig out my tools and get them organized or at least all in one area.

So now I at least have an idea of what I have and what needs to go. I will update as I get more supplies and more room, the motorcycle is going to go to clear room and add money for some more equipment. I think I have a good start on the equipment I need and will update as I expand my inventory. I’m expecting a few deliveries next week of some more tools I have ordered and will update with my new toys once they are received.
The plan for now is to use the folding table and sawhorses with my spare closet doors as my workbenches for the time being. I hope to eventually post a beautiful workshop like some of the ones I’ve browsed through thus far on this site. I look forward to learning alot and hopefully contributing some knowledge while gaining some at the same time from everyone here.

It is always an exciting time when you are starting on a major workshop overhaul. This space has a lot of potential that is going to be enjoyable to follow in its evolution. I am looking forward to seeing your next installment.

I’ve been doing a shop re-org for the past week. I can now get to my workstations without fear of tripping over something else.

In case my last comment seems odd it was aimed at someone who signed up just to market crap and has since had their post removed

Looks like fun! Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just order a “wood workshop” on the phone or online and have it installed? Just pick from the list of Tools & Accessories and click on “confirm order”. Delivery in 5-10 days.
