I am a beginner in wood working, focusing so far on turning. I like bowls and pens, starting some pepper mills and hoping to move on to humidor sized boxes next then someday tables and larger furniture. I love woods of any type but honestly I favor the darker grainy woods.
I could sure use some help, anybody from in kansas City here?

Welcome…..I’m in KC, near KCI. I don’t do any turning, but you should have no problems finding answers to your questions…....might I suggest you do a search for “trifern”, his hollow forms and work with dye finishes are amazing.
