Well, here is where my wife (Michele) and I like to spend majority of our time, especially in the summer do to the oversized swamp cooler I added. This is the way it looks in the middle of a project, but it usually gets a real good cleaning when it’s time to finish a project.
Our wood cart is over flowing with scrap pieces of wood that we could not bare to throw away from previous builds so we are now building little projects using the scraps before we start another big project.
As you can see I have to share the shop with the laundry which can be very hard at time but we manage. Because of this we are planning to add another 25’ to the back soon and this part will be the clean room used just for finishing.
The tall café table (catch-all) does get in the way at times but we have also found it to be a very useful tool. There has been so many times we have sat there, drinking a cup of coffee, eating a sandwich, just sitting, and came up with cool ideas, solved problems with assemblies, or came to agreement on projects that the table will always have a home there.
I’m going to end this here, because everything in this shop has a story, and I could type here all day. If you have a question about something or want to hear a story about anything in this shop just post it and I will tell you then. I hope you enjoy the tour.

Hi Aubster,
Thanks for the shop post. You have a nice shop and a nice set of tools to play with. I don’t blame you for keeping the offcuts. You just never know when you are going to need them for a project.

If your wife’s in on this, too, you’ve got a great thing going! You don’t have to think so hard for excuses of why you need to buy a tool. Plus, what a great way to spend time together!
