Picasso was so prolific. His idea’s for new techniques and new colors stretched the imagination . I read where he would walk thru the front door into a small anti chamber filled with rocks , bones , thumb nail sketches of natures beauty to fire the pistons of creativity . He then would enter a gymnasium size studio with an antique convertible car in the middle of the space. Here he mixed all his paints while surveying in a circle a sea of unfinished paintings. One color on his pallet he would visit each painting using the one color if it needed it. It’s hard to imagine masterpieces painted in an assembly line style production but this is why he was so prolific . The o...
