I inherited this passion from my grandfather, he was a boat builder and built several. I started early in woodworking when i was a 5th grader and I recall some of my school projects include a folding stool, a turned wooden mallet, a tool box, a marking guage and a wooden jeep driver's seat. All of them got the highest grades in our Practical Arts subject. Woodworking has been my favorite hobby since then.
