I am making lithophanes, and needed to come up with a display box that they could be mounted in and backlit for display.
I drew up the following as a basic idea:

I don’t have a jointer or plainer or table saw (just a CNC router) so I ‘borrowed’ a friends fathers workshop and bought some alder, and went to work cutting… and here is the actual item so far:

It is 13” x 15” x 3.75” deep.
I am staining them now (as can be seen in the picture), next I need to cut out wood for the backs, then install the lighting…
Nothing special compared to most of the stuff you see here, but I’m new at all this, so am kinda proud of making them all by myself in the shop.
