« Part 7: Waterproof! Part 8 of Random shop notes series Part 9: A nice find, and some re-arranging. »

I spent a loud morning dragging my washer and dryer across the basement. Once they were out of the way I settled in for a grimy and dull bout of wall scraping and brushing. I also gave eviction papers to some 347 spiders of various sizes, most of whom went peacefully and without protest. I am so pleased with the ‘peacefully and without protest’ aspect of my spider eviction operation that I am adamantly refusing to think of where they might have relocated too.

I have also met my goals of learning where the drain valve on the water heater is by propping something against it in an effort to partially flood the basement, and re-assuring myself that fiberglass insulation continues to be as itchy as hell.

All in all, a productive day.

Hopefully it ends with a fully waterproofed workshop wall.

I spent months cleaning my Shop and vacuumed up hundreds of spiders with the Sears Vac.

I can defiantly feel for you with the cleaning, repair and painting you will be doing.
