My shop/garage has changed quite a bit over the past year since I joined LJ’s.
Probably because we moved into this house a little over 16 months ago. Plus, I’m still fairly new to woodworking so I’m still adding quite a bit to the tool collection.
So back in February and March, I built my worktable that’s now doubling as an outfeed table. I also upgraded the tablesaw from a Delta 36-600 to a Grizzly G1023SL.
In April I bought my Shop Fox mortiser and ran 220 for the tablesaw.
Over the summer, I put in some old kitchen cabinets a buddy of mine gave me. Screwed down a 3/4” plywood top to the counter top along with a 4” backslash. I’m still waiting on him to find the hardware so I can install all the doors.
I didn’t do much in the fall other than try and straighten/organize everything. But I added a shop vac I got for Christmas and just bought the Vortex from Rockler a couple weeks ago.
And this past weekend I just upgraded my jointer from a Geetech benchtop to the Ridgid JP0610.
I’ve added some smaller things over the year. Too much to go through. A couple bigger small things were the Oshlun dado set, a Forrest WWII blade, the Dewalt cordless brad nailer, and the Porter Cable biscuit joiner.
I also got a Harbor Freight drill press table and Grizzly tenoning jig from my parents for Christmas.
Anyway, here’s a few pics I took last weekend. The last is taken from the door as you enter coming out from the kitchen.
