Seems I am always lookng for a nut or bolt for a peice of geat in my shop.Without taking a spare with me to the nut shop I am usually stubbed out with a replacement that’s eighr too big or too small.Now all I have this to fill in the blanks for size and thread. Note: while this review is of the BS1400 model, the owner’s manual calls it the BS14002. I do not know if the addition of the number 2 signifies an upgrade or is just the full number not listed correctly in the catalog. The earlier “gray” version might have been the plain, old BS1400. I thought I’d post a review of my Ridgid 4511 Granite table saw for those who are interested. I purchased this in the spring w/ the ultimate power deal (or whatever they call it) for about $450. I’ve used it for several small projects now and have been pleased w/ the saw, but like most things in life, it wasn’t perfect. Pros:Granite top is uberflat. And hard. And rust free. Nice fence, easy to adjust and accurate, also easy to add faces (UHMW, etc) Herculift base is really amazin...

I know there have been many praises and reviews for Simple Green to clean all kinds of saw blades but I read another praise in “Woodworkers Resource” about mixing Simple Green 1:4, 1 part Simple Green to 4 parts water. The author let the blades soak for 3 hours and said it worked as good or better than any other product for removing build up on saw blades.
