« Part 4: Working on the big wheel and Maidens Part 5 of Spinning wheel series Part 6: Glue up anxiety!! »

So I roughed out the wheel on the bandsaw

Than I used a pattern bit on my router table to true it up

Followed this up drilling the holes on my drill press

It all dry fit really well together

Now I just have to figure out the proper steps to glue it up?

All your work has always impressed me, Steve, but this is blowing me away! I know you will have that puppy glued and true shortly…..........might need another hand though….LOL.

Steve, you are making amazing progress. I have never glued a spoke wheel, but if I were to try, I would use a slow setting glue like hide glue and glue the entire thing at once. Use a strap clamp similar to this to pull everything together simultaneously. HTH
