Allison's Workshop

As I was looking through the blogs of others I noticed this workshop section and decided to add it to mine. I do not have any pictures as of yet but I will post very soon. My workshop is actually in my home and it is “my space” It is small compared to the others I have looked at so far. Plus it is an odd shape . I would say it is around 25 by 8 . The size makes me no nevermind as it simply is not important in my case. I have everything I want and need and then some. 1 case is a couple routers my husband has purchased that I simply have not used yet. It is something I do want to learn and definitely should and will but at this time they are still sitting in the box. My 1st scroll saw I got (the one my hubby got me) when I broke my knee was a Harbor Frieght one that cost $56.00 and I LOVED it! I wore that saw out to it’s very core. In retrospect I realize what hell I had put the thing through . Since my 1st, I now have 7 scroll saws and though I do not own any of the higher end saws, at this time I am happiest with a craftsman and use it the most. I also am a sanding nut and probably have more kinds, sizes etc. of sanders than should be allowed, yet I cannot for the life of me get that awesome smooth finish I so very much want, but with each project I see better results so I am not bitching, but if I did have a bitch it would be that I did not find this passion I have found with the woodwork and everything that goes with it say 30 years ago. So for now this is how I will leave it, because if I were to go upstairs and take a picture right now you would see a mess, a mess of intarsia pieces, and a scroll project. I always have more than one thing going on as I just can’t stick with one at a time or I would burn out. So again I would like to thank all who have been so welcoming. PEACE!!! Allison
