I really like your work, it's excellent. By the way, you live in an insanely beautiful part of the country. I used to drive a big truck all over the country, and when people asked me what was the most beautiful place, I would say the area around Susanville, Ca. Lucky girl!!

@devann, I would go ahead and post it under your projects but just explain it as you did here. I'm sure all would like to see it!

Hi Allison, You make some really beautiful art. Thanks for your kind words about my folk art pictures. I never heard of Intarsia before looking at your work. I deal with a consignment store and one day while taking a new piece down to them I saw this cool looking bowl that turned out to be made on a scrollsaw. It is a heart shaped bowl that will collapse like a portable drinking cup you use when you go camping. It looks like a bread bowl of sorts becuase the top of the heart when in the flat position flips up to make a handle in the extended position. I'd like to post a picture of it somewhere for all the scrollsaw folks to copy but not sure where. I don't want to put it on my page because I didn't make it. Any idea where on the site it should go? P.S. It's kinda old, the shop owner only wanted $5.00 for it, the wood cost more than that now.

    Hey Allison,
It's nice to know there are others out there like me, self-taught, flying by the seat of my pants, but what a ride. I love your work and I also like using natural wood as a pallet for color. I started out as a carver, so I really appreciate your eye for the grain and wood choices. Keep up the good work!

I LOVE to see women into wood working and your work is exceptional. I wish you could do some pieces to apply to some of my cases and pet caskets.
    Best Of Luck To You
