Hey Guys! #1: Sup guys±!

Hey!
I’m Alexandre, who likes wood.
I also like playing adventure video games such as minecraft etc…
I do woodworking with my dad, I really like building stuff and my own tools.
I came from South Africa and now live in Ontario, Canada.
I started woodworking basically immediately after I came, So I came August 2010 and then yeah…
The reason I started woodworking was:
In South Africa, Wood was EXPENSIVE
You could also basically only get Pine, Red oak, Mahogany and this wood I can’t remember the name.
For example, Lets say you wanted a piece of pine.
It was R30 (now I think its R40) for a piece of 1×2x(8feet) pine.
Doing the exchange rate (R7=$1 Well thats my exchange rate.. :P) It was around $4.28 for it, now its around $5.7.
Coming to Canada and walking into the Home Depot, I saw a 1×2x(8 feet) piece of SELECT pine (pine with no knot holes) for $2.
I was astounded and bought it, Built my first project, A really beginner coffee table that’s table top was so thick, It looked like a chopping board.
Soon, My dad and I bought a Bosch 4100-9 Table saw, 4310s Mitre Saw and a Jessem Full kit Mast-R-Lift-Excel II.
