Hello fellows,

Recentely I need to glue some parts of wood too long for my pipe clamps.

I decide to use a ratcheted band to do the job for me.At that time I forgot to make pictures,so I illustrate it at the pictures below.It works very well and the force applied is very big.

Understand the idea:

The eye-bolt

The hook tends to pull off the piece

To anulate the pull force you need to clamp it.Here angle bar to keep the jaw in place.


Clamped in place (only for example how it works at workpiece)

You have to change the position of eye-bolt based in the band model

Here an example.If I need to glue this blue piece at the top of bench.

If you need a “fine tunning” on force (more force) you can tight the nut A and than lock it at nut B (one of jaws has this configuration)
