I built these two projects one after another. Both made from white oak with a English chestnut finish. I think it only cost me $130.00 for all the materials including the mirror. I wasn’t planning on building the mirror but I had enough left over white oak. This was my first attemp at mortise and tenion joints and I was happy with results.

Hello everyone, the time has come to get my son out of our bed. I used hard maple with mortise and tenin joints with a honey maple gel stain finish. I maded a couple of mistakes, but the mattress and box fame will hide them. I used the rail hardware from Woodcraft which makes the bed really solid.
