Galvanized pipe for clamps. Save some $$$ - 10 replies Went to Lowes the other day to pick up some pipe for my pipe clamps, and thought I should let you all in on it. If you purchase short lengths (2’, 3’, 4’ etc) you are going to pay too much. Lowes sells 10’ lengths of 3/4” galv. for $1.28 per foot. They will cut it and thread it for free. Pipe clamps 1/2" vs 3/4" - 25 replies So my next question is: Is there really a need to spend the extra bucks on 3/4” clamps or will 1/2” suffice. I mean I know they’ll clamp, but what is the benefit of 3/4” over 1/2”? Thanks in advance. Can you tell I’m in a purchasing mood? Matt |

Buying the G0555 and I have a question - 28 replies OK, So I’m going to order the Grizzly G0555 Bandsaw in the next coupld of days, and I want an opinion before I place the order. I currently have a 6” jointer with no hope of getting an 8” any time soon. Does it make more sense to buy the riser block now?
