Brush strokes in finish - 2 replies

I have been working on a built in kitchen booth (soon to make post on process). The construction phase is complete. The stain has been applied and up to that point all was as good as I could expect of myself. I used General Finishes Gel Stain to get some color into the maple wood and plywood.I decided to follow that up with General Finishes...

Buying the G0555 and I have a question - 28 replies

OK, So I’m going to order the Grizzly G0555 Bandsaw in the next coupld of days, and I want an opinion before I place the order. I currently have a 6” jointer with no hope of getting an 8” any time soon. Does it make more sense to buy the riser block now? Or invest in a couple of better quality blades and then get the riser...

Design from a picture... - 9 replies

... and not a great picture at that. How can I go about figuring dimensions for a kitchen booth & table working only from a picture. Booth This will hopefully wind up be my first “commision”. The project is for my my sister-in-law. Don’t expect to get paid a great deal if at all. Heck if it will pay for the band...
